Google Maps recently announced upcoming support for bicycle routes. They’re not just stopping with the how to get there option.
Recently announced, they’re also using the Google Trike – a camera mounted on a bicycle – to capture Street View images of places inaccessable to cars.
Where are they going to film? Well that’s up to you. You can nominate locations from six different categories:
- Parks & Trails
- University Campuses
- Theme Parks & Zoos
- Pedestrian Malls (ie: outdoor shopping areas, boardwalks)
- Landmarks
- Sports Venues (ie: golf courses, racing tracks, stadium grounds)
Where in DC would you nominate? The Zoo? Rock Creek Park? The Mall? Mt. Vernon Trail? W&OD?
